Vercelli, Italy May 6, 2025  – Known for its appreciation of art, Vercelli, in Northern Italy, is gearing up for a month-long celebration dedicated to Filippo Biagioli. Throughout May, the city will honor Biagioli’s artistic contributions with two solo exhibitions and various events. This also marks the return of an artist whose creative journey began in the city two decades ago. The first exhibition will be held at the Casa d’Arte Viadeimercati gallery, located at 3 Vibio Crispo Street, Vercelli, on May 10th, 2025, at 6:00 P.M. Claudio Maria Balocco and Paola Bertolazzi will curate this exhibition of contemporary art.

The exhibition explores Biagioli’s artistic evolution and diverse range of expression, showcasing artworks in various mediums. These include embroidered fabrics, notebooks, books, painted polaroids, wood, murals, and art videos. A second solo exhibition of Filippo Biagioli will take place at the Casa-Museo “Mario Carrara” on Somalia Street, Vercelli, on May 30th, 31st, and June 1st, 2025, at 3:00 P.M. This exclusive exhibition will feature sculptures, canvases, masks, and other creations, highlighting the artist’s raw and instinctive ideas. A total of forty artworks will be on display.

Filippo Biagioli’s work is highly valuable, relevant, and thought-provoking in today’s world. Consequently, many of his pieces are featured in national and international art museums and institutions, such as the Kandinsky Library of the Centre Pompidou in Paris and the Library of the Images Department of the British Museum in London, among others.
