That sounds boring on paper. It was a risk. But the community knows better. The real value wasn’t in the explosions. It was in the legacy code execution.
Let’s look at the commit history. Ronald D. Moore started pushing this branch in Season 3. “Sins of the Father” introduced the Klingon corruption bug. It sat dormant. But don’t expect Paramount+ to understand the source code anymore. They just want the output.
