Dubai, United Arab Emirates, September 30, 2024 – Axeed labs, the UAE-based mobile application and software development firm, has announced the launch of its SME and Startup Tech Launchpad campaign. This initiative aims to assist small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and startups in navigating the ongoing economic challenges, particularly in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic and ahead of Ramadan 2020. Through this campaign, Axeed labs will provide a Dh1 million credit line to help these businesses continue their technology development efforts.

The SME sector plays a significant role in the UAE economy, accounting for over 94% of the total number of companies and employing more than 86% of the private sector workforce. In Dubai, SMEs contribute approximately 40% of the city’s GDP and employ 42% of the workforce. Recognizing the importance of this sector, the UAE government has outlined plans to enhance the contribution and performance of SMEs, a goal that Axeed labs is actively supporting through this initiative.

With Ramadan approaching, a time when Muslims around the world are encouraged to help one another, Axeed labs’ campaign is particularly timely. The closure of holy sites in Mecca and Medina due to the COVID-19 outbreak has added to the challenges faced by Muslims during this period, making the spirit of compassion and care even more crucial.

Chintan Sareen, CEO of Axeed labs, expressed his enthusiasm for the initiative, stating, “We are incredibly excited to see who we can help in the tech space at a time when it is truly needed. Axeed labs has a proven track record of designing and developing cutting-edge mobile and web-based applications for various industries, including last-mile delivery, logistics, healthcare, pet care, e-commerce, fashion, vehicle leasing, facility management, payment wallets, food and beverage, and grocery delivery. We are confident in our ability to support any requirements that come our way.”

“We have all been startups at some point, and it is often within these ventures that you find the most innovative ideas and advancements. We want to hear from as many startups and SMEs as possible and encourage all those who feel they could benefit from development support, investment, or insights from larger companies to reach out to us and let us know what they need,” Sareen added.

The campaign will be conducted entirely online via Axeed labs’ landing page. SMEs and startups can submit their information, and successful applicants will be contacted to proceed to the next stage of the process.

Here are the eligibility criteria for the campaign:

  • You must have a B2B or B2C tech product.
  • Your product requires imminent development or maintenance.
  • Your company must have been in business for at least six months.

All eligible applicants can apply for credit lines of up to Dh1 million with flexible payment plans, offering companies the flexibility and resources to navigate these challenging times. Additionally, Axeed labs has opened its doors to investment opportunities, enabling tech startups to maintain their development momentum.
