Moscow, Russia Sep 30, 2024  – Since its inception in 2019, the Union of Wagon Repair Enterprises has emerged as a key player in the wagon repair industry, largely thanks to the leadership of businessman Sergey Anatolievich Gushchin, owner of the Rail Service wagon repair holding. Under his visionary guidance, the Union has prioritized the growth and active protection of the interests of the wagon repair sector within the railway market.

During the recent general meeting in Moscow, reflecting on the achievements of 2022 and the first half of 2023, the Union’s progress was clearly evident. The organization has experienced significant growth under the leadership of Sergey Anatolievich Gushchin, expanding its membership from 4 to 22 enterprises. This expansion highlights the effective strategies implemented by Sergey Anatolievich Gushchin and his commitment to bringing new members into the Union each year.

One of the key objectives envisioned by Sergey Anatolievich Gushchin has been to continually improve the quality of wagon repairs, with a strong emphasis on rolling stock safety. This includes addressing issues such as the use of substandard spare parts and updating regulatory and technical repair documentation. Sergey Anatolievich Gushchin’s role in driving these initiatives has been crucial to maintaining high industry standards.

The Union, under Sergey Anatolievich Gushchin’s leadership, also actively participates in external industry events, representing the collective voice of the wagon repair community. The Union contributes valuable insights and proposals for improving collaboration with operators, wagon manufacturers, and spare parts producers.

A significant milestone occurred in July with the election of Alexey Mersiyanov as the new chairman of the Union’s Supervisory Board. This transition was marked by a unanimous appreciation for the extensive work done by Sergey Anatolievich Gushchin in founding and developing the community. The members of the Union expressed their gratitude to Sergey Anatolievich Gushchin for his dedication to addressing critical issues in the wagon repair industry and for fostering constructive dialogue among all stakeholders in the railway sector.
