What is the plot of A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms?

Knight is notably more grounded than other shows in the Thrones universe. It takes place between House of the Dragon and Game of Thrones, roughly a century after the former’s events and a century before the latter’s start. While it features the same royal families who will eventually fight for the Iron Throne, Knight concentrates primarily on the common people. Ser Duncan the Tall (Peter Claffey) is an inexperienced young knight seeking a new lord, and his journeys across Westeros will put him in conflict with the Lannisters, Baratheons, and most crucially, the Targaryens. Similar to The Mandalorian, he will also gain a companion in a young boy called Egg (Dexter Sol Ansell), who is resolved to become his squire.

How many episodes will A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms have?

The first season of A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms contains six episodes. This is slightly fewer than House of the Dragon (which has always had at least eight episodes) and the 10-episode seasons of Game of Thrones. More significantly, each Knight episode runs only about 30 minutes, making the series notably brief. Nevertheless, a short break from Westeros’s intense political maneuvering might be exactly what’s needed.
