THE Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) has issued a subpoena to five individuals in relation to the alleged forgery of President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.’s signature and counterfeiting of the government seal for the supposed appointment of Abraham Espejo as the new commissioner of the Bureau of Immigration.In a statement, CIDG Director Brigadier General Ronald Lee said these personalities may “shed light” on the matter amid their investigation.“With the ongoing investigation, we seek the cooperation and full support of those who were initially identified to uncover the truth through the information that they will be providing. Likewise, all pieces of information will be subject to further evaluation and validation,” said Lee.”Our appeal continues for those who may have information about the said incident.
