THE Philippine National Police (PNP) Internal Affairs Service (IAS) has recommended the dismissal from service of the six policemen who mauled and robbed a vendor in Caloocan City in March.IAS inspector general Alfegar Triambulo said they have already submitted their recommendation to the Directorate for Personnel Records and Management for approval and submission to officer-in-charge Lieutenant General Vicente Danao Jr.The six cops were identified as Corporals Noel Sison, Rommel Toribio, Ryan Sammy Mateo, Jake Rosima, Mark Christian Cabanilla and Daryl Sablay.Triambulo said they were found guilty for charges of grave misconduct and conduct unbecoming of a police officer. In a viral video, the cops were seen mauling Eddie Yuson as they took his cash amounting to P14,000.“Sila po ay unfit na magpatuloy bilang isang alagad ng gobyerno, bilang pulis dahil sa kanilang masamang ginagawa supposedly na dapat ay protektahan ang property at buhay, ito ay minaltrato at sapilitang kinuha yung pera, kaya ito ay hindi dapat pamarisan at ito ay nakita namin na circumstances na dapat ay sibakin sa serbisyo itong mga pulis na ito,” said Triambulo.Once the dismissal recommendation is approved, the cops will no longer receive their benefits and are perpetually disqualified to work in the government.
