RESIGNED Executive Secretary Attorney Victor Rodriguez is no longer part of President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.’s administration, his successor Lucas Bersamin said on Tuesday, October 4, 2022.
Bersamin said there is no such thing as Administrative Order 1 that supposedly assigns Rodriguez as the presidential chief of staff.
Rodriguez resigned from post following his involvement in the sugar importation fiasco.
He said, however, that the basis of his resignation was that he wanted to spend more time with his “young family.”
Rodriguez served as Marcos’ long-time aide and spokesperson, even before his presidential candidacy for the 2022 national elections. (SunStar Philippines)
