OVER a million worth of dried leaves suspected to be Kush or high grade marijuana were seized from a 38-year-old man who was arrested in Las Piñas City on October 11, 2022.
The suspect was identified as Juanito Jose Diaz Remulla III, according to a spot report.
Seized from Remulla were 937 grams of Kush with current street value of P1,311,800.
The illegal drug was found placed in a parcel shipped by a certain Benjamin Huffman, from California, USA. It was consigned to Juanito Remulla of Barangay Talon Dos, Las Piñas City, Metro Manila.
Also seized from the suspect were two brown paper pouches attached with bubble wrap each containing plastic pouches of dried leaves suspected to be Kush, one blue clip board, one parcel receipt, and one LTO Driver’s License card.
The operation was conducted at 11:10 a.m. of October 11 in Barangay Talon Dos, Las Piñas, the report added. (LMY/SunStar Philippines)
