In a company statement, The Honest Company stated, that from now on Alba would be shifting “her creative energy to new endeavors,” along with which she would also, “provide her support and leadership” as a member of the board of directors.
Alba wrote that building this company has “been a true labor of love”. She added, “From the first concept book I pitched to my friends in Mommy and Me class, to ringing the bell at Nasdaq with my family by my side – this journey has been the ride of a lifetime, one that only existed in my wildest dreams.”
