Gurgaon, Haryana Jul 7, 2025 – Haryana City Gas Distribution Limited (HCG), a prominent natural gas supplier in North India, has announced the launch of its new initiative, ‘Safe Summer with PNG’, a public awareness campaign focused on promoting safety and best practices for residential Piped Natural Gas (PNG) users.
Given the rising summer temperatures and increased gas consumption in kitchens, this campaign seeks to educate households on essential safety measures, such as checking for gas leaks, understanding emergency shut-off procedures, and ensuring adequate ventilation.
“We are more than just gas suppliers; we are safety partners,” stated a spokesperson for HCG. “Our objective is to ensure that every family using PNG understands the do’s and don’ts of gas usage and feels prepared to respond effectively during emergencies.”

Informational leaflets & local community meetings
encourages residents in Gurugram, Rewari, Sonipat, and surrounding areas to remain vigilant and well-informed. The campaign will run throughout July 2025 and will also feature a 24/7 helpline for safety-related concerns.
