STOCKHOLM, Dec. 16, 2025 — Epidemic Sound, the global soundtracking platform, today announced the integration of its AI-powered workflow tool, Studio, into its Adobe Premiere Pro plugin. This update enables Epidemic Sound subscribers to leverage Studio’s instant, cohesive soundtrack drafting capabilities directly within Adobe Premiere Pro—the leading Non-Linear Editor (NLE) used by millions of global creators, including brands, professional videographers, freelancers, online content creators, and YouTubers.
While editing in Premiere Pro, creators can now highlight specific sections of their video, and Studio will use AI and data insights to deliver a legally compliant initial soundtrack draft synced with the visuals. The soundtrack includes high-fidelity WAV and MP3 files of human-made music from Epidemic Sound’s renowned artists, plus Hollywood-grade ambient sounds to set background atmosphere and foley effects to enhance actions like breaking glass.
“We know millions of the world’s creators choose Adobe Premiere Pro as their go-to editor, and every minute saved is critical for them,” said Epidemic Sound Chief Product Officer Sam Hall. “By integrating Studio directly into creators’ native workflows, we eliminate time spent switching between interfaces and equip them with instant, cohesive soundtrack drafts in seconds. While AI streamlines the process, humans remain firmly in control—retaining creative autonomy to refine that rough cut into their final output. Studio embodies our belief that AI should empower, not replace, human creativity, and we’re excited to roll it out across all our plugins in the near future.”
This integration marks Epidemic Sound’s latest step in using AI to simplify the creative workflow, provide essential peace of mind via legal safety, and ensure artists are fairly paid and their work is widely distributed. It also features notable updates to the broader Studio workflow, which now offers expanded creative control: creators can move, extend, trim, or adjust the volume of individual audio clips directly within the timeline.
The news follows the launch of Epidemic Sound’s soundtracking service and music adaptation tool—both of which expanded artist remuneration through an additional bonus pool while enabling creators to easily edit, shape, and customize music for their content.
