MUSCAT, Oman, Dec. 8, 2025 — Dar Global (LSE: DAR), a luxury real – estate developer listed on the London Stock Exchange, has joined hands with Art District Real Estate Development. Today, they announced the beginning of a collaboration to launch and develop ‘MAD’, the Muscat Marine, Art & Digital District. This is a revolutionary new coastal destination that combines oceanfront living, luxury hospitality, culture – driven enterprises, and forward – looking finance and digital industries.
Situated along Oman’s scenic coastline, the ‘MAD’ project covers an area of over 1.5 million square meters. The total development value for all phases, which will take place over 12 years, is approximately OMR 1.6 billion (USD 4.2 billion). It is designed to enhance the Sultanate’s global status by integrating sea – view living, luxury hospitality, cultural expression, and future financial and digital sectors into a single, unified ecosystem.
Envisioned as a multi – destination city, ‘MAD’ brings together luxury residential communities, cultural venues, world – class marinas, carefully curated retail spaces, next – generation finance and business parks, and high – end hotels. This district will attract wealthy travelers, global investors, art collectors, tech founders, and creative entrepreneurs to live, work, and interact in a seamless experience that is based on Oman’s maritime identity and economic vision.
