Hamas has reportedly drafted a letter for President , requesting that the American commander-in-chief guarantee a 60-day cessation of hostilities. In return, the group offers the immediate release of half of the captives currently held in Gaza. This information comes from a senior Trump administration official and a second source actively participating in the ongoing negotiations.

The letter is anticipated to be delivered to Trump within the current week.

Trump, who has been endeavoring to play a role as a global peacemaker, has consistently called upon Hamas to release all the individuals it abducted during the brutal Oct. 7, 2023 assault against .

While in England last week, Trump articulated his demand for the hostages’ freedom “now — right now.”

Earlier this month, Trump issued what he referred to as his “last warning” to Hamas in a post on Truth Social.

“Everyone wants the Hostages HOME. Everyone wants this War to end! The Israelis have accepted my Terms. It is time for Hamas to accept as well. I have warned Hamas about the consequences of not accepting. This is my last warning, there will not be another one!” the president asserted in the Sept. 7 .

Previously this year, on March 5, the president had also delivered what he described as a “last warning” in a Truth Social post.

“Release all of the Hostages now, not later, and immediately return all of the dead bodies of the people you murdered, or it is OVER for you,” he cautioned. “I am sending Israel everything it needs to finish the job, not a single Hamas member will be safe if you don’t do as I say. I have just met with your former Hostages whose lives you have destroyed. This is your last warning!” the president declared. “RELEASE THE HOSTAGES NOW, OR THERE WILL BE HELL TO PAY LATER!”
