Taylor Farms, a leading North American provider of ready-to-eat salads and fresh, healthy foods, has announced over $650,000 in scholarships through its enhanced annual program. The scholarships are divided into three categories: Extraordinary, Innovative, and Employee Scholarships.

A total of 38 new scholarships were awarded in 2025:

• The Extraordinary Scholarship aids students at four-year universities. This year, 26 outstanding students received this award.
• The Innovative Scholarship supports academic and career growth at junior colleges and trade schools, with 9 promising students recognized this year.
• The Employee Scholarship directly supports 3 Taylor Farms employees in their educational and professional development.

Since its inception in 2008, the Taylor Farms scholarship program has awarded $4.7 million to 319 students, all children of full-time Taylor Farms employees. The company is dedicated to supporting its community through education and opportunity.

Taylor Farms collaborates with the Community Foundation for Monterey County to manage the application and award process. Scholarship recipients receive an initial financial award and can renew it annually throughout their undergraduate or graduate studies. In addition to the 2025 recipients, 81 renewal scholarships were awarded to students who initially received awards between 2022 and 2024.

The commitment to higher education is clear in the essays and personal statements we reviewed. Our committee dedicated many hours to reviewing each application and believes that this year’s recipients are truly exceptional and have bright futures.
