Octa research fellow Dr. Guido David said NCR’s positivity rate on May 27 was at 21.7 percent.
David also noted the downward trend of positivity rate in Bulacan, La Union, Rizal and Tarlac, which along with the NCR, are currently under moderate risk.
“Positivity rates are now decreasing in most of Luzon,” he said.
Under “high risk positivity rates” were Bataan (39.5 percent), Batangas (20.5 percent), Benguet (22.7 percent), Cagayan (27.2 percent), Camarines Sur (34.2 percent), Cavite (26.2 percent), Isabela (47.9 percent), Laguna (22.5 percent), Oriental Mindoro (43.2 percent), Palawan (29.6 percent), Pampanga (27.5 percent), Pangasinan (23.2 percent), Quezon (29.8 percent) and Zambales (21.6 percent).
As of June 4, the Philippines has a total of 13,808 active Covid-19 cases.
The total case load is 4,148,401 with 66,476 deaths. (SunStar Philippines)
