SIX individuals including Aparri, Cagayan Vice Mayor Rommel Alameda were killed in an ambush perpetrated by unidentified gunmen in Bagabag town on Sunday morning, February 19, 2023.
In a report, police said the suspects who were wearing pixelized uniform with mask aboard a sports utility vehicle blocked the victims in Sitio Kinacao, Baretbet using the school barricade of MV Duque Elementary School around 8:45 a.m.
The suspect’s vehicle was bearing a red license plate (SFN 713).
“They apparently ambushed the victims using Long and Short FAs and get short and long firearms inside the vehicle of the victims and immediately escaped heading towards Solano, Nueva Vizcaya,” police said. (SunStar Philippines)
