THE Supreme Court (SC) has identified 14 local testing centers (LTCs) across the country where the 2022 Bar examinations will be held in November.

In the National Capital Region, the LTCs include the San Beda University, Manila; De La Salle University, Manila; Manila Adventist College, Pasay City; Ateneo High School Complex, Quezon City; and University of the Philippines-Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City.

The Saint Louis University, Baguio City; De La Salle Lipa, Batangas; and University of Nueva Caceres, Camarines Sur will host the Bar examination in Luzon.

In Visayas, the exams will be held at the University of Cebu and University of San Carlos, both in Cebu City; and at the Dr. Vicente Orestes Romualdez Educational Foundation, Tacloban City.

The LTCs in Mindanao were the Xavier University-Ateneo de Cagayan, Cagayan de Oro City; Ateneo de Davao University, Davao City; and Ateneo de Zamboanga University, Zamboanga del Sur.

The venue selection module was closed on September 19.

Those who failed to secure their venue were assigned to an exam venue based on the remaining slots in any exam venue in the province or region nearest his or her present address.

Earlier, the SC said the 2022 Bar examinations will push through on November 9, 13, 16 and 20 with the use of Examplify, a secure examination delivery program, for the 2022 Bar Examinations.

Examinees will use their own devices in their preferred venue while taking the exam.

They will be monitored by in-person proctors and closed circuit television cameras in the exam rooms.

Among the subjects covered in the exams are remedial law and legal ethics, political and international law, criminal law, labor law and social legislation, and civil law and mercantile law. (SunStar Philippines)
