OIL companies announced on Monday, October 17, 2022, a more than P2 per liter price increase for diesel on Tuesday, October 18.
In an advisory, Pilipinas Shell, Cleanfuel, Seaoil, Caltex, PTT Philippines, Unioil and Phoenix Petroleum Philippines said there will be an additional P2.70 per liter for diesel and P.80 per liter for gasoline.
Kerosene prices will also increase by P2.90 per liter. Those that carry the said product were Shell, Seaoil and Caltex.
Phoenix, Unioil, PTT, Seaoil and Shell will implement the price adjustment at 6 a.m. on October 18, while Cleanfuel at 4:01 a.m. and Caltex at 12:01 a.m.
Last week, oil companies also implemented a big-time hike on fuel prices, especially on diesel at P6.85 per liter. (SunStar Philippines)
