OVER P113 million worth of methamphetamine hydrochloride (shabu) were seized and seven individuals were arrested in two separate operations in the cities of Muntinlupa and Makati on Monday evening, March 8, 2021.
Charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against the arrested suspects.
A report by the Muntinlupa City Police Office said members of the Drug Enforcement Unit conducted a drug bust at 9:05 p.m. Monday in Barangay Tunasan.
Those arrested were Liezel Julhasan, 40; Donnalyn Julsahan, 21; Denver Porlahe, 19; Sharifa Kuly, 28; and Rovelyn Enot, 40.
Confiscated from them were around 2,000 grams of shabu valued at P13.6 million.
In Makati City, anti-narcotics operatives nabbed Kemin Manisi, 49, and Abdulrahim Ysmael, 28, in a drug bust in Barangay West Rembo.
Recovered from the suspects were 16,000 grams of shabu with an estimated street price of P108.8 million. (Third Anne Peralta-Malonzo / SunStar Philippines)
