Five hundred days have passed since the Hamas attack on southern Israel on October 7, 2023, igniting the current conflict.

A fragile ceasefire in the Gaza Strip has persisted for almost a month. However, the truce’s current phase is set to conclude in early March, with the future uncertain; negotiations for a longer-term agreement, an extension of the current truce, or renewed hostilities remain possibilities.
