NASA’s Science Mission Directorate Associate Administrator, Nicola Fox, stated that the agency has several missions planned over the next five years to search for ice and other resources on the moon. She also emphasized that these missions will leverage the technology and knowledge gained from the VIPER project. VIPER is expected to play a critical role in future lunar exploration.
