Dunedin, Florida Jul 11, 2024 – United States Business Registration is pleased to announce enhanced security features designed to protect sign-ins while ensuring no impact on SAM accounts. These updates enable registered users to securely access their accounts while safeguarding the integrity and privacy of their SAM registration data.
The sign-in process for business registration prioritizes user security. It’s important to understand that the business registration account serves solely for identification purposes and does not influence your SAM account, application, membership, or eligibility. Your SAM registration information remains separate and independent.
For clarity and security, please note the following:
Secure Authentication: The sign-in process incorporates security measures to protect your information. We do not collect or store any data related to your SAM registration account. The Business Registration account acts as a separate security username, granting access to various federal services.
Email Consistency: When creating a business registration account, we recommend using the same email address associated with your SAM account, if applicable. This ensures seamless access to records, data requests, and saved searches. Using a different email address will prevent access to your SAM profile information through registration, but it will not affect the operation of your SAM registration account.
Sensitive Data Handling: We advise against sharing any personal information or details about your SAM applications with Business Registration. The application focuses solely on sign-in procedures and does not handle inquiries about SAM accounts, applications, or qualifications.
Understanding The SAM Registration Process
Integrating business registration with SAM registration simplifies the process without compromising crucial information. When registering your business, using the same email address for both initial business registration and SAM registration ensures uninterrupted access to your SAM profile and related services.
All new SAM registrants should be aware of the general registration process and anticipated timelines. Obtaining SAM registration approval may take up to 7 weeks if you lack an Employer Identification Number (EIN) or Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN) from the IRS. Acquiring an EIN or TIN can sometimes take an additional five weeks for the application process alone.
Once you have your EIN or TIN, SAM registration approval usually takes no more than two weeks, with most approvals occurring within 7 to 10 business days. The process begins by using the SAM website and submitting a notarized letter to the organization’s administrator.
